Active pavement sensor for freezing point measurement

With the active technology, the pavement sensor installed directly into the surface will automatically cool down its surface until freezing occurs, measuring the temperature of ice formation. By comparing the surface temperature with the freezing point temperature of the moisture, the degree of protection is known regardless of the type of chemical already applied.
